Clogher made it two wins out of two when inflicting a first defeat of the season on Newtownstewart. Marc McConnell got the Eire Ogs goal with Emmett McConnell, Ciaran Shields, Paddy McKernan and Conor Shields featuring among the points. Niall Mayse was the goal scorer for Newtownstewart with Ryan Mayse contributing four points.
Glenelly had a fine 0-17 to 1-12 win at home to Errigal Ciaran Thirds. Seamus Harkin was in fine form for the hosts with nine points to his name with Ronan O’Kane and Kevin McConnell also on target. Packie O’Neill scored 1-3 for the visitors with Michael Harte landing half a dozen points as well.
James Darcy came to Tattyreagh’s rescue with a late point as they took a share of the spoils from their trip to Drumquin. Ryan McCallion and Eamon Teague got the Wolfe Tones entire 1-6 tally between them with the former the goal scorer. Darcy and Duncan Hyndman got three points each for the visitors as it finished 1-6 to 0-9.
Mark Corry hit 1-5 with Patrick Lynch getting 1-2 as Castlederg defeated Beragh 2-10 to 0-10 on home soil. Martin Rodgers top scored for the Red Knights with five points to his name with Eddie Molloy getting a couple as well.
Charles O’Doherty, Michael Dooher and Brendan Boggs all found the net for Owen Roes as they saw off the challenge of visiting Brocagh 3-9 to 1-8. Barry Donnelly got the Emmetts goal as well as a couple of points with Michael Hughes on the scoresheet for them as well.
Drumragh picked up their first win of the season when they beat Dregish 1-9 to 0-5 at Clanabogan. Tommy Murphy led the way in the scoring stakes for the Sarsfields with 1-4 to his name with Shane Cleary scoring a trio of points. Tony Quinn got a brace for Dregish with Damian McDevitt also registering.
