There were wins for Stewartstown, Galbally, Kildress and Killeeshil in the early throw ins while Eskra and Cookstown shared the spoils.

Ryan Devlin top scored for the Harps with 1-6 to his name while Gareth Devlin weighed in with half a dozen points as they accounted for Gortin 1-18 to 3-8, Diarmaid McNulty with a couple of goals for the St.Patricks.

Galbally ended the early season unbeaten record of Aghyaran as it finished 1-10 to 1-8 at Pearse Park. Ronan Nugent, Damian McCrory and Sean Murphy notched seven points between them for the Pearses with Mickey Murphy their goal scorer. Ronan McHugh top scored for the St.Davogs with four points with Ciaran McGlinchey finding the net.

Kildress were 2-12 to 0-14 winners away to Derrytresk. Martin Grimes and Damian Kelly were the goal scorers for the Tones with Des Treacy,   Matthew Heagney and Frank McGurk among the points.  Niall Gavin had seven points for the hosts with Cathal O’Neill contributing three.

Killeeshil got their first points of the campaign when they won 2-12 to 1-12 at Urney. Eoghan Donaghy got both of their goals with Plunkett Langan finding the net for a St.Columbas side who have now lost all three of their games.

Christopher Eastwood and Matthew Carberry got eight of Cookstown’s 0-10 between them as they too got off the mark when drawing at Eskra. Peter Hughes led the way in the scoring stakes for the home side with a goal and three points as it finished 1-7 to 0-10.

In the evening throw ins there were wins for Edendork, Derrylaughan and Moortown over Loughmacrory, Pomeroy and Rock respectively. Darren McCurry kicked six points and Darragh Conway got their goal as Edendork triumphed 1-11 to 1-7, Pearse Gallagher with the Loughmacrory goal and Ronan Ward scoring four points.

The game of the day was decided in injury time when a Ciaran Quinn goal saw Derrylaughan beat Pomeroy 1-11 to 1-10 at Plunkett Park in a contest that featured two sides who had won their opening two games. Hugh McNamee got the Plunketts goal with John Loughran scoring a number of points. Darragh Carney and Shea Coney hit 0-9 between them for the Kevin Barrys.

Connell McVey and Karl Hagan got Moortown’s goals with Ryan Kelly notching three points as the St.Malachys beat Rock 2-10 to 1-8. Enda McWilliams was the Rock goal scorer with Conor McCreesh landing five points.
