Seven points from the boot of Intermediate league top scorer Mark Carson ensured joint leaders Greencastle secured a crucial win away to previously unbeaten Stewartstown in the game of the day, Cathal Devlin among the points for the Harps. Eden Clarke hit 1-1 for the winners while former county minor Cahir Mc Cullagh landed three points for the men in green and white.

A late Ciaran McCrory goal gave Galbally a deserved share of the spoils at home to Kildress as it finished 1-11 to 2-8. Colm Loughran and Eoin Brannigan were the goal scorers for the Wolfe Tones with James Lennon and Paul Rafferty grabbing points for the Pearses.

Trillick’s perfect start to the campaign continued when they were 2-9 to 0-8 winners at Aghyaran. Sean Kelly and Niall Gormley got the St.Macartans’ goals with Martin McMenamin and Aidan Connolly getting points for the St.Davogs.

Edendork returned to winning ways when they accounted for Newtownstewart on home soil. Stephen Gervin and Jarlath O’Rourke were the St.Malachys goal scorers with Brian O’Rourke among the points as it finished 2-15 to 0-9, Ryan Mayse and Aidan McSorley on target for a St.Eugene’s side who are still looking for their first points of the season.

Derrylaughan had an emphatic 1-18 to 0-9 win over Killeeshil with Darragh Carney getting the only goal of the game with Martin McStravog and Shea Coney kicking eight points between them, Gary Reilly, Shane Mallon and Kevin Hughes with Killeeshil points.

Johnny Lafferty, Ronan Lafferty and Plunkett Langan hit ten points between them for Urney but it still wasn’t enough at home to a Pomeroy side who found the net four times from Mark McKenna, Ollie McCreesh, Kevin Armstrong and Hugh McNamee.
