Leaders Cookstown defeated Aghyaran 3-10 to 2-4 at home with James McGahan, Conor Mullan and Owen Mulligan getting their goals, Michael Anderson and Chris McGrath finding the net for the St.Davogs.

Galbally played host to Clann na Gael at Pearse Park and it finished honours even on a 2-3 to 0-9 scoreline. James Lennon and Michael Murphy got the Galbally goals with Danny and Joe Ball among the points for the visitors. Urney continued their good run of form at home with a 3-11 to 2-08 win over a hard working Eskra team. county man Johnny Lafferty top scored for the team with 1-6 while the winner’s other goals came from Jamie Mc Aleer and Ronan Lafferty. Indeed it was Ronan Lafferty’s goal in the twenty third minute of the second half that secured the win for the home side.

Strabane got the better of Killeeshil 1-17 to 1-5 at Sigerson Park with John McLaughlin bagging an early goal for the winners and Warner Mullan, John Paul Gallagher and David Taylor all supplying points.

Pomeroy’s title hopes received a setback when they lost at home to neighbours Rock. James and Conor McCreesh got the goals for the visitors with John Loughhran and Frank Burns getting Pomeroy points as it finished 2-5 to 0-9.

Moy and Augher played out an entertaining draw this evening in a game where the home side reached the break leading 1-6 to 0-6. The lead was due mostly to a super goal from Conall Lavery while other first half scores came from Ryan Mellon (0-2) and a point each from Philip Jordan, Harry Loughran, Colm Cavanagh and Karol Mc Quade. Augher upped the pace in the second half and with seven fine second half points earned a deserved share of the points.

Stewartstown came from seven points down at halftime to beat Gortin 1-8 to 1-7 away from home with Paul Dillon getting their goal and Gareth Devlin top scoring for them.
