Moortown maintained their one hundred percent start to the season when they had an emphatic 3-14 to 0-8 victory away to Clann na Gael. Brian McLernon, Daniel Quinn and Karl Hagan got the goals for the league ledaers with Sean O’Kane and Barry McGill supplying points for the hosts.
Newly promoted Brackaville experienced defeat for the first time this sesaon when they lost at home to neighbours Stewartstown who were breaking their points duck. Gareth Devlin top scored for the Harps with a goal as well as a number of points with James Kelly and Cathal Devlin also on traget. Joe Rafferty, Martin Gervin and Ciaran Gervin had points for the Roes with Che O’Donnell getting their goal as it finished 1-14 to 1-8.
Strabane are another side who lost their first game of the campaign when they were beaten 2-8 to 1-8 in Galbally. Sean Murphy scored both goals for the Pearses with his cousin Mickey kicking five points. John McLaughlin got the Sigersons goal with Warner Mullan contributing a few points.
Pomeroy made the short trip to play neighbours Rock and they won 1-12 to 0-11 with Kevin Armstrong getting their goal and Hugh McNamee, Aidan Cunningham and Ollie McCreesh hitting points, Conor McCreesh and Aidan McGarrity with scores for the home side.
