Dungannon gave their survival hopes a huge shot in the arm while at the same time damage Galbally’s title dreams after a richly deserved 2-10 to 0-14 win at O’Neill Park. Man of the match Padraig McNulty got both goals for the Clarkes with Patrick Quinn and Keifer Morgan among their points, Paul Rafferty, Damian McCrory and Sean Murphy on target for the Pearses

Moortown are back on top of Division 2 tonight as they took full advantage of the Galbally slip up in Dungannon.  The St Malachy’s hosted Derrytresk and were too strong for the men from the hill.  Carl Hagan got the only goal of the game for Moortown.  Conor Herron, Peter Devlin and Tony Devlin kicked 0-12 between them.  Joe McKee and Conor O’Neill fired over a brace of points for Derrytresk.  Final Score – Moortown 1-17 Derrytresk 0-8

Kildress took on bottom of the table Clann na nGael at Gortacladdy this afternoon and they recorded a four point win.  Clann na nGael were ahead at one point after the break thanks mainly to points from Danny Ball, Stephen O’Neill and Adrian Ball.  Frank McGurk and Niall Quinn were the early point scorers for Kildress.  A goal from Des Treacy towards the end of the third quarter eased the Kildress nerves and further scores from McGurk and Martin Grimes saw them home.  Final Score – Kildress 1-12 Clann na nGael 1-8

Edendork travelled to Pomeroy and came away with a two point win after a very entertaining game.  Padraig Donnelly fired home a goal for St Malachy’s close to the half time whistle to put Edendork 1-7 to 0-5 ahead at the break.  Emmett Campbell, Hugh McNamee and Frank Burns dragged Pomeroy back into the contest after the break.  Points from Darren McCurry and Stephen Gervin put Edendork ahead however when Hugh McNamee pointed the game was level.  Edendork finished the stronger and recorded further points from Brian O’Rourke and Darren McCurry.  Final Score – Pomeroy 1-12 Edendork 1-14

County man Danny McBride and John McLaughlin were goal scorers for Strabane as they piled on the pressure on Moortown and Galbally with a one point victory over Eskra.  Warner Mullan was also on the scoresheet for the Sigersons.  Goals from Conor Hagan and Joe McCarroll and points from Peter Hughes had Eskra well in the game however they eventually lost out by the narrowest of margins.  Final Score – Strabane 2-11 Eskra 2-10

Gortin recorded a fifth league win of the season when they beat Brackaville at home.  Both sides were level at the break.  Goals from Diarmaid McNulty, Kevin Mossey and Daniel Ward eased Gortin in front and points from Kevin McCullagh fired them further ahead.  Joe Rafferty and Ciaran Gervin slotted home the goals for Brackaville while Sean Corr and Ciaran Curry were also point scorers for the Owen Roes.  Final Score – Gortin 3-13 Brackaville 2-9
