The weekend action in division two began on Friday night when Brackaville had a narrow 0-11 to 0-10 win at home to a Rock side who remain second from bottom of the table as a result of this defeat. Sean Corr, Ciaran Currie, Martin Gervin and Joe Rafferty were among the points for the Roes with Conor McCreesh once again leading the way in the scoring stakes for the St.Patricks.

Galbally returned to winning ways when they had a convincing win away to Clann na Gael. Sean Murphy was the star of the show for the Pearses with 1-7 to his name with Paul Rafferty and Neil Hagan also finding the net. Michael O’Neill got the goal for the home side on another day that they will want to forget in a hurry.

Eskra maintained their good run of form when they eased past Derrytresk 2-14 to 0-4. Joe McCarroll and Shane Hackett got he goals for the Emmetts with Peter Hughes, Niall Marlow and Shane Hackett contributing points, Joe McKee and Caolan Corr with scores for the disappointing visitors.

Kildress picked up a much needed victory at the bottom end of the table when they had the minimum to spare over Dungannon at Gortacladdy. Barry Cassidy, Aaron Brannigan, Eoin Brannigan and Frank McGurk had points for their respective sides before Patrick Quinn got a goal for the Clarkes but Damian Kelly won the day for the Wolfe Tones with a late major as a low scoring game ended 1-7 to 1-6.

It finished honours even between Gortin and Urney, 0-11 each. Kevin Mossey and Kevin McCullagh landed four points each for the St.Patricks with the latter hitting the equaliser, Jamie McAleer, Gary Lafferty and Stephen Lafferty with points for the St.Columbas.
