Cookstown made it two wins out of two when they had a comprehensive win at Gortin. Shea McGarrity scored two goals while Tom Mullan also found the net and there were points from James McGahan, Danny McElhatton and Brian Mulligan. Mickey Mossey and Gavin Treanor featured on the score sheet for the hosts as it finished 3-15 to 0-8.

Urney made the long trip to Stewartstown and it proved to be a worthwhile journey as they came away with a superb 3-10 to 0-7 victory with Stephen Lafferty, Johnny Lafferty and Aidan Lynch getting their goals.

Augher and Clann na nGael played out a draw in Augher.  The visitors got off to a great start in the opening half with Joe Ball scoring the Clann’s goal.  After the break Francis McMeel hit back with an Augher goal to share the points in the end.  County senior men Stephen O’Neill and Aidan Cassidy both were sent off after picking up earlier cards.  Augher 1-9 Clann na nGael 1-9

Loughmacory had a convincing win over Killeeshil at home.  Brendan Donaghy, Ronan Ward and Sean Paul Slane were among the point scorers for the St Treasa’s men while Gary Reilly scored both of the Killeeshil goals.  Loughmacrory 0-17 Killeeshil 2-5

Rock also maintained an unbeaten start to 2012. Last week they drew with Strabane and this week they overcame Aghyaran by 16 points.  Aidan McGarrity was the chief marksman for Rock with two goals, one either side of county minor Diarmuid Carroll who also found the Aghyaran net.  Aidan Donaghy was on the score sheet with a couple of points for a well beaten Aghyaran side.

Strabane Sigersons 1-9
Eskra Emmett’s 0-8

Sigersons Senior footballers recorded a good win away to Eskra in the O’Neill’s Sportswear Tyrone All County League Division 2 with the hard working Aaron McLaughlin getting the only goal of the game in the dying minutes of the clash to seal the victory.

The sides were level at 0-3 apiece at the interval with John-Paul Gallagher scoring 0-2 for Strabane and John McLaughlin also adding a point. Joe McCarroll, Adrian Scullion and Rory Marlow were on target for the home side.

Eskra got the better of the early second half exchanges with Conor O’Hagan and Joe McCarroll landing points to send them into a two point lead.

Strabane battled strongly and were rewarded with points from Fergal McGavigan and Aaron McLaughlin to level matters and then points from a Fergal McGavigan free kick and Warner Mullen from play gave Sigersons the advantage. Paul Marlow who had come on as a substitute narrowed the deficit for Eskra but fine scores from John-Paul Gallagher and a long range free kick via Warner Mullen looked like steering them to victory.

However Eskra weren’t finished just yet and two points from free kicks through Conor O’Hagan narrowed the deficit to the bare minimum with time almost up but Strabane broke away and good work by Michael Etherson and Fergal McGavigan sent Aaron McLaughlin through to hammer the ball to the home sides net into injury time and ensure a deserved win for Sigersons.

The Strabane team and scorers were; James O’Reilly, Kieran O’Kane, Martin McNulty, Conor McLaughlin, Liam McGillian, Ciarán Friel, Aaron McLaughlin (1-1), Danny McBride and Martin Mongan, Paddy Roarty, John-Paul Gallagher (0-3), Michael Etherson, Fergal McGavigan (0-2), Warner Mullen (0-2), John McLaughlin (0-1).
Substitutes: Ryan O’Kane for Paddy Roarty, Ryan McElroy for Ciarán Friel.

The referee was Cathal O’Hagan (Brackaville).
