Tyrone Minors Dominate Louth in All-Ireland Minor C Championship

The Tyrone minor camogie team continued their impressive run in the All-Ireland Minor C Championship with a commanding victory over Louth at the weekend.

The Red Hands started brightly, racing into an early lead with three quick points from Emer Cunningham, followed by a well-taken score from a placed ball by Catherine Moohan. Both players were instrumental in Tyrone’s dominant first-half performance, contributing an outstanding 3-11 between them.

However, they were not the only Tyrone players to shine at Garvaghey. Amy Holmes, Aoife Grogan and Niamh McElduff also impressed while Eva Fulton and Gemma Daly added to the tally before the break.

Half-time: Tyrone 3-13 Louth 0-0

With unlimited substitutions now permitted at underage level, managers Sean Moohan and Kevin Cunningham took the opportunity to utilise the full squad and experiment with player positions. Clodagh Mallon and Tess Daly rounded off Tyrone’s scoring, while Louth managed to register a couple of late scores before the final whistle.

Next up, Tyrone travel to Cavan for the penultimate round of the competition.

Full-time: Tyrone 3-15 Louth 0-2
