Bad news has just broken this morning that Matthew Donnelly will miss the remainder of the national league following a grade 1 tear of a medial knee ligament which was sustained during the Kerry game on Sunday.  The news will come as a big blow to Tyrone as Donnelly has been one of the stand out performers for Tyrone so far in 2014.

Darren McCurry is also not likely to feature in the crucial national league clash with  Westmeath.  If Mickey Harte goes with previous years plans McCurry will be rested ahead of Tyrone Under 21’s midweek clash with Ulster champions Cavan.  Details of the starting team for the Westmeath game on Sunday afternoon will be released tonight and we will have that information on the website later.
