Double Blow For Pearses

Galbally haven’t made a good start to life back in Intermediate football and they received a double blow during the week with the news that two of their key players are to miss a number of games. Experienced defender Terry Donnelly was sent off for a second yellow card offence against Newtownstewart in their first game but after playing last weekend against Clann na Gael it has been reported that the CCC have handed him down a twelve week suspension after reviewing the referee’s report. On Thursday night at training full back Kieran McCrory broke a bone in his hand that will keep him out for a few weeks as well so its not good news for the Pearses who face neighbours Rock on Sunday afternoon.
