Dromore through to Under 21 final

Dromore defeated Greencastle 2-10 to 0-11 at Dunmoyle this afternoon to make it through to the Grade One Under 21 decider against Edendork. The winners opted to play against a strong breeze in the first half but capitalised on the spaces afforded by the Greencastle defence to hit crucial scores in the 16th and 30th minutes. These goals were both fine team scores coming from corner back Sean Muldoon and wing half forward Jack Poyntz. In spite of the best efforts of Sean Warnock, Mark Carson and Dean Fox Greencastle just came up short in an entertaining and very competitive second half. Dromore keeper Declan Mc Kenna pulled off a couple of super saves to ensure it was the St Dympnas who prevailed.
