Dromore And Errigal Draw: Cookstown Pip Moy

At half time in the Dromore and Errigal game it was Dromore 0-7 Errigal Ciaran 1-5 with Sean Mc Donnell, Niall Sludden and Eoin Mc Cusker among the points for the home team while Caolan Tierney hit the all important goal for Errigal. The second half was also a very competitive affair and finished 1-9 to Dromore, Errigal Ciaran 2-6. Eoin Mc Cusker top scored for his side with 1-5.
Up at the Moy it is the Cookstown lads that are looking good as they led 1-6 to 0-5 at the break. Conor Mullan got his team’s goal with their points coming from county minor James Mc Gahan (0-3), Barry Mulligan, Shea Mc Garrity and Marty Murray. With ten minutes of the second half remaining Cookstown remain in control leading 1-10 to 0-6 with young Mc Gahan on the scoreboard again. Moy fought back to increase their score line to nine points with Chris Kavanagh and Peter Mallon on target but it is Cookstown who come away with the points with James Mc Gahan and Conor O’Hare getting their second half scores. Final score Moy 0-9, Cookstown 1-10.
