Drumquin got the better of Castlederg in this evening’s division 3 clash but had to survive a second half scare as the visitors staged something of a recovery. Drumquin led comfortably at the break 1-5 to a point with Frankie Mc Alynn scoring 0-3 and Brendan Gormley bagging 1-1. However although Pearse Mc Girr, Paul Sheridan and Barry Glackin added to the Wolfe Tones’ total they were made fight all the way by a reinvigorated Castlederg. Final score Drumquin 1-11, Castlederg 0-9.
