The second annual Toolbox.ie Clash of the Clans sevens tournament, run by Drumragh Sarsfields in association with the Ulster Cancer Association, will take place at the club’s grounds at Clanabogan on Saturday July 9.

The Hughes team from Carrickmore won last year’s tournament beating the Gormley family from Trillick in the final with Drumragh’s McLaughlin clan winning the leisure section.

There will again be two divisions this year – leisure and competitive – and teams must consist of seven players and three subs and team members must be related.

Registration will open at 2pm on the day with the action getting underway at 4pm with prizegiving afterwards. It costs £100 per team who register before the day and £120 to register on the day. To enter a team you can get in contact with Terry Keyes (07908473342/terry.keyes@uk.henkel.com) or Patrick Griffin (07873133793/patrick.griffin4@mail.dcu.ie).

In addition to the main event on the Saturday, there will be a firms/friends sevens competition on Friday July 8 which will begin at 6.30pm with registration at 5.30pm. Get in touch with Terry or Patrick to enter this competition. This costs £70 to register before the competition and £100 on the day.

On Sunday July 10 there will be a Gaelic4Mothers blitz from 12.30pm with teams from Tyrone, Down and Armagh taking part. Pre-registration costs £70 and £100 on the day. Contact Anne Donaghey for further details on 07725258935.
