Drumragh Defeat Drumquin In Derby

Drumragh ended a huge week for the club with three points to spare over neighbours Drumquin on Tuesday evening.
The Sarsfields restricted the Wolfe Tones to two Frankie Mc Alynn points over the course of the opening thirty minutes while bagging seven points of their own.
Things did improve for Drumquin after the break with Mc Alynn adding four further points to his tally and Chris Browne hitting the net.
Drumquin reduced the gap to three at the end but Drumragh held out for a deserved 0-13 to 1-7 win with Shane Cleary (6), Benny Drumm (2), Aaron Montgomery (2) and Paul Maguire (2) among the points.
