Final Score – Newtownstewart 2-10 Dungannon 0-15

Ciaran McConnell is the hero for Newtownstewart as he squeezes over the final point of the game.  A tremendous second half come back from Newtownstewart which was capped off by a man of the match performance from Kevin Gallagher who finished the game with 0-6.

Level once again in Greencastle.  Tremendous game with less than one minute to go.  Ryan Mayse and a Kevin Gallagher free has leveled the game following a free on Michael McConomy.

Dungannon move two points clear with a point from Jonathan Toal.  David Walsh at full back has been outstanding for Dungannon in the second half.

Seven minutes to go and Dungannon lead by a point.  An excellent Adam Mallon free sails over Pascal McConnell’s bar.

Ten minutes to go and Dungannon are down to 14 men following a second yellow card for Conor McNulty.  All to play for as the hard hitting continues.

48 minutes gone in Greencastle and the sides are level.  A second Newtownstewart goal this time from Niall Mayse has squared the game.

Dungannon had jumped out to a 0-13 to 1-6 lead thanks to points from Declan Treanor, Barry Cassidy, and two points from Adam Mallon.

However scores from Ryan Mayse, Kevin Gallagher and Niall Mayse have turned the game on it’s head.

Dungannon Clarkes take a one point league into the second half of tonight’s Power NI Junior Football Championship first round match in Greencastle.

The Clarkes were 0-6 to 0-1 ahead after 20 minutes.  However 1-2 from Newtown in a two minute spell hauled them back into contention for an upset.  Jude Lynch has scored the goal while Kevin Gallagher, Ryan Mayse and Kevin Gallagher have clipped over the points.

Barry Cassidy and Patrick Quinn have registered the points for Dungannon.
