Integrated College Dungannon 4-6 St.Colman’s Ballynahinch 1-5

ICD won the inaugural U16 Post Primary League ‘B’ Shield at Garvaghey on Wednesday afternoon defeating St Coleman’s Ballynahinch in a keenly contested game with three second half goals proving to be decisive scores for ICD.

ICD got off to a good start and a Daragh McKiver goal helped them in to a 1-2 to 0-1 lead. However, St Coleman’s rallied and closed the gap to two points which left ICD leading 1-4 to 1-2 at the short whistle.

ICD stretched their lead early in the second half with two points from Dylan O’Hagan and they forged ahead when a 14m shot from Ciaran Conway found the roof of the net. Again, St Coleman’s came storming back and narrowed the lead to two points. ICD rallied and goals from Dylan O’Hagan (penalty) and Kyle Gallagher saw ICD finish out the winners. Best performances for the winners were Andrew Mullan, Ryan Duffy, Ethan Jordan, Dylan O’Hagan Odhran Robinson and Kyle Gallagher.
