Tyrone Minor Champions Naomh Mhuire are out of this year’s Northern Bank Ulster Minor Football Championship following a four point defeat to Antrim Champions St John’s.
Tyrone Minor Darren McCurry top scored for Naomh Mhuire finishing with 0-6 out of the eight point total.  The Corrigan Park club played into the breeze in the first half but they were well on top at midfield thank to dominant displays from McCafferty and Douglas.  The scoreline at half time was Naomh Mhuire 0-6 St John’s 0-5.

Naomh Mhuire struggled in the first fifteen minutes of the second half and didn’t score until Enda McGahan levelled the game midway through the half.  However it was St John’s Luke Peden and Conor Johnston that did the damage and saw the Belfast men home with four points to spare.

Final Score Naomh Mhuire 0-8 St John’s (Antrim) 1-9
