McKenna Returns as Edendork Are Relegated

Edendork will be plying their trade in Intermediate football next season after they lost out in a sudden death playoff to Eglish at Connolly Park on Saturday afternoon. Colm Byrne and Aussie Rules star Conor McKenna got the Eglish goals with Peter McCann and Ethan Jordan landing three points each for the winners. Neil Kilpatrick got Edendork’s goal with Darren McCurry kicking four points and Niall Morgan two as it finished 2-9 to 1-10. Eglish will now await the winners of the promotion playoffs in Division 2.
