This year Tyrone Camogie have added interest to their leagues by having the top two teams face off in a final. On a beautiful but blustery evening in Eglish, it was a chance for Edendork and Eglish to contest the league title. The visitors were hot favourites to take the title having beaten Eglish comprehensively when the teams met previously this season.

Edendork looked to be well up for the contest as they went immediately into the lead. However Eglish soon settled to the task and as the half progressed there was little between the two teams. When the half time whistle sounded after a very competitive opening period the sides were level on 2-4 apiece thanks in no small part to the impressive efforts of Eglish goalkeeper Kate McKee.

The second half was as relentless as the first with great team play on show from both sides. The game remained tight early on and although Eglish displayed some excellent skill from players such as captain Kate Daly and forwards Rhianne McLoughlin and Alanna Rose Farley, Edendork were able to capitalise on their wind advantage and build a winning total. Player of the match Catherine Moohan and Edendork captain Eva Cullen showed great accuracy both from play and set pieces and ended the match with a convincing victory.

Edendork 4-14 Eglish 3-4
