Eglish Camogs In Devastating Win

While the Eglish minor footballers were pressing for their county semi final with Carrickmore the club’s senior Camogie side were preparing for their senior championship semi final clash with Eire Óg senior camogie side on Sunday past.

As it turned out the game was not as close as many expected it to be with Eglish finishing 3-16 to 0-1 winners having led 2-9 to 0-0 at the break. Among the scorers for the winners were Ciara Geoghegan 1-4, Kaitlin Gallagher 1-3, Olibhia Farley 1-1, Casey Gallagher 0-2 and Reagan Fay 0-2.

Ailise Coyle 0-1 was on target for Eire Ó-1.
