Eglish Edge Naomh Treasa Once More to Claim 25th Straight Championship Title
Eglish reaffirmed their dominance in Tyrone camogie at senior level with a 0-15 to 1-9 victory over Naomh Treasa, extending their astonishing run to 25 consecutive county championship titles. In a contest that echoed past finals between these two familiar foes, Eglish’s experience once again proved decisive, though Dungannon’s resilience kept them within striking distance throughout.
The sides had met twice already this season — first sharing the spoils in the league before Eglish claimed a win — and their championship final clash lived up to its billing as a tense, tactical encounter.
Cliodhna Goodfellow and Kaitlin Gallagher got Eglish off to a dream start, and when Oilibhia Farley added two fine points, the defending champions were four ahead. In a first half marked by disciplined defending and heavy tackling, frees provided the most reliable scoring avenue. Naomh Treasa talisman Roisin McErlean kept her side in touch with two early points from placed balls, but Eglish found greater variety in attack, with Reagan Fay, Gallagher, and Eve Hughes all on target to stretch the lead to six.
Dungannon thought they had snatched a lifeline when a goal chance found the net late in the half, only for play to be called back for a free. McErlean duly converted, taking all of her side’s first-half tally as Eglish closed the period with a composed point.
Half-time: Eglish 0-11 Naomh Treasa 0-11
The second half began with similar frustration for Naomh Treasa as another potential goal was ruled out — this time pulled back for a sideline ball. In a moment of brilliance from Dungannon goalkeeper Eimear Colton, she stepped up from distance to blast home a stunning goal from a 65-metre free, cutting the gap to two points and reigniting Dungannon’s challenge.

Colton then denied Gallagher with a fine save, but Eglish’s composure and depth once again shone through. Fay, Farley and Goodfellow combined to edge them clear, and when the final whistle sounded, Eglish’s remarkable run continued — a 25th straight championship title and another step forward into the Ulster Intermediate Championship.
Final Score: Eglish 0-15 Naomh Treasa 1-9
Eglish Scorers: R Fay (0-5), O Farley (0-3), C Goodfellow (0-2), K Gallagher (0-1), E Hughes (0-1)
Naomh Treasa Scorers: R McErlean (0-8), E Colton (1-0), L Barker (0-1)

In the Junior final Edendork emerged triumphant defeating Markievicz 3-16 to 3-8 having led at the break 2-10 to 0-3.
Edendork Capture Junior League Title After Commanding Display
The much-anticipated Tyrone Camogie double-header took place in Edendork this weekend, with the hosts producing a superb performance to claim the Junior League title after a 3-16 to 3-8 victory over Donegal side Markievicz.
Having shared a win apiece in their league meetings earlier in the season, there was little to separate the teams on paper. But from the first whistle, Edendork set the tone — sharp in attack, solid in defence, and clinical in front of goal.

Catherine Moohan led the early charge with a flurry of points, while her sister Bronagh’s free took a deflection off a Donegal stick to rattle the net. Nicole Donaghy, playing her first game of the season, added to the tally alongside Player of the Final, Eva Corr, whose powerful running and intelligent play were key to Edendork’s early dominance.
In defence, Meghan Doherty and Alana McGeary were tireless, while Olivia McGuinness was heroic in goal, denying several certain Markievicz scores. By halftime, Edendork had built a commanding 2-10 to 0-3 lead.

Markievicz came out stronger after the break, with Aimee Lafferty leading the fightback, scoring 1-2 in a spirited purple patch. The Donegal side struck for two more goals to narrow the margin, but Edendork’s composure and superior fitness shone through in the closing stages.
A second-half goal from Catherine Moohan and a string of well-taken points sealed the win for Edendork, who lifted the shield to the delight of the home supporters.
It was a fitting reward for a team that blended experience, determination, and youthful energy throughout the campaign — and they’ll now look to build on this success in the seasons ahead.
Final Score:
Edendork 3-16
Markievicz 3-8
