Eire Óg Through To Ulster Final
Sunday 02.11.2025
A real battling second half display from Eire Óg saw the Carrickmore based side see off the challenge of Crosserlough 0-12 to 2-4 in the semi final of the Junior B Camogie Championship.
Conditions made life difficult for both sides but Eire Óg made better use of the breeze in the second half and restricted their opponents to a single point during that period.
Crosserlough looked impressive in the first half and led at the break 2-3 to 0-6. Goals from Katie Daly and Lorraine Day sent both teams off at the break believing there was much to play for.
Niamh Mc Elduff led the line after the break hitting three second half points while Aoibhin Daly, Sorcha Gormley and Orlaith Mc Elduff were also among the points. Defensively the home side battled hard to reduce the number of chances for their opponents after the break and limited them to a single score. It was not pretty at times but it was effective and at the final whistle Eire Óg claimed the win on a score line of 0-12 to 2-4.
