The eagerly awaited derby clash in the MacRory Cup at Healy Park on Monday evening proved to be a one sided affair as St.Patricks Academy Dungannon maintained their unbeaten record with an emphatic 2-18 to 0-9 victory over Omagh CBS. There was little between the sides at the break with Dungannon 0-7 to 0-5 in front thanks to scores from Keifer Morgan, Stefan Lavery and Ryan Devlin, John McCullagh Ryan Maise and Colm McCrory on target for Omagh. Three minutes into the second half Devlin slammed the ball to the roof of the Omagh net and Dungannon never looked back. Four minutes later substitute Dwayne Quinn also scored a goal to end the game as a contest. Cahir and John McCullagh had Omagh points but the latter’s night ended prematurely when he suffered a leg injury and had to be replaced. Dungannon continued to dominate with Lavery and Aidan McGarrity finishing with nine points between them and Eunan Deeney also on target as they moved closer to the McCormack Cup final.
