Ulster Minor Hurling 1/4 Final @ Ballinascreen 1pm Throw In
Eoghan Ruadh (Tyrone) versus St. Eunan’s Letterkenny (Donegal)

This Sunday Eoghan Ruadh will face St. Eunan’s in the Ulster Minor Hurling Quarter Final at Ballinscreen. Last year Ogra Ruadh came up just short against Keady at the same stage, and they will be hoping to go one better this Sunday against the Donegal Champions St. Eunans, with the winners facing Derry’s Slaughtneil or Armagh’s Keady in the Semi Final.

For Letterkenny who disposed of Donegal Kingpins Burt & Setanta, this will be something of a journey into the unknown, with 2011 being the first year a Donegal team has entered the tournament. County U21 Stars Colm Flood & Mark Reilly will hope to lead their team to a debut win.

The Ruadh charges had a tough county final against rivals Eire Og, winning on a 3-12 to 2-7 scoreline, after a strong second half performance. The Dungannon club will look to Conor Coyle, Ruairi Devlin & Conor McNally to keep things steady at the back. The Midfield of Thomas Lowe and Tiernan Morgan will again be crucial to their success, while up front the potent threat of good displays from Damian Casey and co will be essential for their progress.

It’s sure to be a great tussle between the two county champions.
