Eoghan Ruadh Lift Minor Hurling Crown

Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh came from being three points down against Eire Og at half time to win the 2011 Minor Hurling title under lights at Healy Park tonight. The game was a fine advert for club hurling in the county as both sides went at it hell for leather from the first whistle. Eire Og struck first with a free from Conor Mc Elhatton and a Sean Mc Cann goal put the Carrickmore lads in pole position at half time leading 1-5 to 1-02. However Eoghan Ruadh came out a different side in the second half and with Morgan and Casey driving them forward at every opportunity they moved ahead to take the title on a final score of 3-12 to 2-7.
