Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh retained their U16 Championship crown in Galbally tonight with a highly impressive 21 point victory over their fierce rivals Eire Og. Duibhir Marshall was the star of the show for Dungannon with a wonderful 3-9 but he was ably backed up by Patrick McQuaid (3 goals) and Tiarnan Goodwin (2 goals). Midfielder and captain Eoin Quinn got the other goal for Eoghan Ruadh.
Although outgunned on the night Eire Og can take great heart from the performances of Ryan McKernan (1-3), Peadar Daly (2-0) and Ronan Grogan (1-1)
Final Score – Eoghan Ruadh 9-12 Eire Og 4-6
