Errigal Ciaran 3-12 Donaghmore 1-15

Errigal Ciaran are Reserve Champions for 2026 after edging past Donaghmore in a keenly contested final at Pairc Chormaic in Eglish on Wednesday evening. It was a contest that ebbed and flowed throughout with a 57th minute Ryan Ward goal proving to be the decisive score.

Charlie Maguire and Tomás Mullin had first half points for the winners with the impressive Ciaran Mullin scoring a goal but they trailed 0-10 to 1-5 at the break. Ruairi O’Neill, Rory McGee, Cormac Drayne and Phillip Donnelly with points while the latter also raised an orange flag.

Drayne and Maguire traded points on the restart before Daniel Blake and Maguire again helped Errigal Ciaran onto level terms. Bryan Horisk then put Errigal Ciaran in front only for an O’Neill free to level matters before Mullin grabbed his second goal on the night. In the next attack though Ciaran Donnelly palmed to the net and the sides were level only six minutes left to play. Ryan Lynch and Jude McNally exchanged points as did O’Neill and Maguire but sandwiched in between those scores came the defining moment as Ward’s goal clinched the silverware for the Dunmoyle based men.
