Errigal Edge The Verdict
Thursday 15.06.2023

Errigal Ciaran collected two points at the Eoghan Ruadh Hurling pitch in Dungannon on Wednesday evening when they edged past Dungannon on a 2-10 to 2-9 scoreline. The Clarkes had a player sent off after only two minutes and by the break they were in trouble as they trailed 2-5 to 0-2 with Eoin Kelly and Mattie McCarney getting the visitors goals and Mark Kavanagh among their points.
The Clarkes came out for the second half with all guns blazing as Paddy Quinn and Paul Donaghy hit points and Oran Mallon got a goal before a Donaghy penalty left it level pegging going into the final quarter. Tommy Canavan and Kavanagh exchanged points with Donaghy and Cowan with the visitors just doing enough to come out on top after a second half that saw both sides have a player sent off.
