Errigal Well Beaten In Paul Mc Girr Semi

Errigal Ciaran were well beaten by a very well organised St Endas team from Antrim in this afternoon’s Paul Mc Girr semi final. The Tyrone champions paid the price for having several of their key players involved in some hugely important games three days in a row for both club and school. St Endas hit the net just before the break to lead 1-10 to 0-5 and never looked back. They added 3-8 without reply in the second half and were excellent value for their win. Padraig Mc Girr, Paudge Mc Anenly and Patrick O’Neill were on target for Errigal on a day when they came up against very formidable opponents who will now go into the final as favourites for the title.
