After a highly entertaining morning’s football all across the county the four semi finalists hoping to lift this year’s Feile crown were decided. As expected three of the sides that featured prominently in last year’s under thirteen competition have made it into the last four as Moortown, Galbally and Dromore emerged victorious at their venues. They are joined in the last four by Ardboe who defeated Cookstown in the playoff game at Greencastle. The Rossas beat Fintona and Errigal Ciaran in their sectional games and then accounted for The Fr. Rocks by five points in the final game of the day.
Galbally and Moortown have been two of the top performing teams in this year’s under 14 league and overcame Eglish and Coalisland respectively in their sectional finals. Meanwhile Dromore showed tenacity and strength as they defeated a very impressive Owen Roes team to gain a place in the last four.
It is anticipated that the competition will be concluded during on Easter Tuesday.
