Coalisland Fianna remain on target for a league and championship double following their 4-4 to 0-9 win over Dromore at Killeeshil in very difficult conditions this afternoon in the Grade One League semi final. It was all about goals today and Coalisland’s ability to convert their chances to goals was the main difference in the end. Dromore found it difficult to create goal scoring opportunities but landed nine fine points through Declan Mc Nulty 0-4, Ciaran Mc Cormack 0-3 and points each from Rhys Mc Caffrey and Emmett Mc Nabb.  Meanwhile in the grade four semi final there was something of an upset in Strabane when underdogs Killyclogher B defeated hot favourites Drumquin to qualify for the league final. The Wolfe Tones were hoping to maintain their good form and keep alive their hopes of a league and championship double. However  on a day when the weather made good football very difficult Killyclogher did just enough to win a very tight game 1-8 to 1-7. Drumquin’s scores came from Gary Mc Conomy 1-2, Cormac Rogers and Conor Mc Hugh 0-2 each and Killian Doherty 0-1. For the Killyclogher lads this win was built around a strong team performance where every player played his part with their scores coming from Mark Flanagan 1-2, Jake Gilmurray 0-2, Ronan Quinn 0-2 and a point each from Rian Mc Caul and John Mc Gurk.
