Final Go-Games Blitzes And Coaching Sessions Planned.

The County Youth Committee have selected the following Venues to play Host to both the U.8’S and U.10’s end Of Season Youth Blitzes:

Strabane – Errigal Ciaran – Galbally – Killyclogher – Greencastle – Ardboe

Following the success of last year’s Finals Day Blitzes where we added in a Coaching Element as well as the Mini games, we would again hope to follow in a similar vein. Along with The Coaching and Development Officer we would intend to have at least two of our County Coaches attending each Venue to work on developing Specific Skills amongst our young stars of the Future. We would also intend to have one member of the County Youth Sub Committee present to work alongside all the Go-games Co-ordinators from each Club to ensure the smooth running of each Venue,
We would ask that Co-ordinators could be available on both Sat 24th Sept and Sat 1st Oct from 10am to 12 noon. (Sharp)

The County Coaching Officers will bring along their own equipment for the Coaching element. There will be a total of 7 or 8 Clubs at each venue and the Host Club will also be included in that number, Confirmation of actual teams at each venue will be issued once it can be verified that the Host Clubs are available

Ardboe – Breac an Bhíle – Clonoe – Coalisland – Derrytresk – Brocagh -Derrylaughan -Moortown – Ardboe (Patrick Kelly)

Could any Club who are not intending to take part on either day please get in touch with Des O’Docherty on 07845467572 by this weekend so any adjustments can be made, Confirmation of actual numbers of players taking part by each Club would also be much appreciated.

The Youth Committee wish to thank most sincerely the Host Venues for allowing their grounds and facilities to be used for the young Stars of the Future.

The Mini-Games on the Day will only last 5 minutes per half so as to allow as many games to take place alongside the Coaching

THE CLUB GO-GAMES CO-ORDINATOR FROM EACH CLUB WHO HAVE HELPED HOST THE GO-GAMES PROGRAMME OF BLITZES OVER THE YEAR ARE AGAIN ASKED TO BE PRESENT AT THE SELECTED VENUES.
