Naomh Eoghan made it three wins on the bounce in Division two when they travelled to Plunkett Park on Thursday evening and deservedly took the spoils against Pomeroy. The visitors dominated the first half to establish a 1-12 to 0-2 lead with Niall Mayse getting their goal and Ryan Mayse, Aidan McSorley and Eoin Devine featuring among their points, Ronan Duffin with both scores for the hosts.
Pomeroy came out for the second half with all guns blazing and an early goal from Hugh McNamee was followed by a trio of two pointers from Ryan Loughran and Peter Rafferty as they fought their way back into contention. Naomh Eoghan though didn’t panic and a late McSorley goal ensured that they travelled home with the spoils.
