History was made at Monday’s Colleges All Star Awards when Conal Mc Nulty became the first ever All Star selected from St. Joseph’s College Donaghmore. The young Eglish star was chosen along with four other Tyrone players for this year’s selection following impressive showings for his school team and then starring in the trial games organised by the Ulster Colleges. St. Joseph’s, who play their football in the O’Doherty/Mac Larnon Cup competition, become the 31st school to be included in the All Stars list and are justifiably proud of the achievement of their outstanding centre back.

Another equally delighted young man will be Omagh CBS forward Ryan Mayse. The Newtownstewart forward has had a pretty decent season with both his club and college and to make the All Stars team for this year caps it all off for him.
