First Points For Pearses

Galbally secured their first league points of the season when they defeated neighbours Killeeshil 1-13 to 1-7 at Kennedy Park. The hosts began well with a goal from Gary Reilly but the Pearses responded with points from Neil Hagan and Paul Rafferty coupled with an Aidan O’Hagan goal to lead by three at the break. In the second half Shane Mallon had a couple of points for Killeeshil but Galbally were always in control with Ryan McGurk, Rafferty and O’Hagan all on target as they comfortably kept their opponents at arms length.
