First Win For Champions

At the third time of asking last season’s double winners Trillick picked up their first win of the campaign when they came from behind to beat Coalisland at Donnelly Park on Sunday afternoon. The hosts led 0-5 to 0-3 at halftime with Lee Brennan, Simon Garrity, Peter Herron and Sean L Corr among the points for their respective sides. Midway through the second half two quickfire goals from James McCann and Ruairi Campbell saw the Fianna take the lead. Trillick though lifted their game with Brennan firing in a goal and adding a few points as they ran out 0-12 to 2-3 winners.
