Division 1 Round 11 Results
Derrylaughan 0-12 Donaghmore 0-12
The competitive nature of Division one was there for all to see again on Friday night with four of the seven games played all ending in stalemate. Keeper Lorcan Quinn came to Donaghmore’s rescue with a last gasp free earning them a point away to Derrylaughan on a night when Conor Cush and Philip Donnelly were among their scorers as well. James Donnelly, Tomas Carney, Ciaran Quinn, Liam Gervin and Ciaran Gervin were the Kevin Barrys marksmen.
Carrickmore 1-11 Coalisland 0-14
Coalisland hit the last three scores of the game to earn a point away to championship opponents Carrickmore. Aidan Fullerton got the only goal of the game for the hosts with Mickey Donaghy and Caolan Daly among their points. Paddy McNeice, Peter Herron and Bailey Leonard were among the Fianna marksmen with the latter getting a late equaliser.
Errigal Ciaran 0-10 Clonoe 1-5
Errigal Ciaran edged the verdict at Dunmoyle against Clonoe to go top of the Division one table. Darragh Canavan, Ciaran McGinley and Peter Harte supplied points for the winners with Ryan Quinn getting the goal for the O’Rahillys and Stephen McNulty kicking a brace of points.
Greencastle 0-12 Dungannon 5-9
Dungannon turned on the style away to Greencastle when two early goals set them on their way to victory. Paul Donaghy top scored with 2-5 to his name with Ryan Jones finding the net twice and his brother Dalaigh also raising a green flag. Cahir McCullagh, Mark Carson and Sean Warnock had points for the home side.
Loughmacrory 1-6 Dromore 0-9
It finished all square between Loughmacrory and Dromore with Niall Sludden getting a late equaliser for the St.Dympnas. Cathaoir Gallagher got a goal and a few points for the St.Theresas with Fergal Higgins also getting his name on the scoresheet. Peter Teague, Tiernan Sludden and Colm MacRory all weighed in with points for the County champions.
Moortown 0-13 Killyclogher 1-10
Peter Devlin’s fifth point of the night earned Moortown a draw at home to Killyclogher. Paul Quinn and Sean Kelly were also among the points for the St.Malachys with Gavin Potter getting the Killyclogher goal and Mark Bradley a number of points.
Omagh 3-9 Ardboe 1-18
Eugene Teague hit a superb 1-6 as Ardboe upset the odds with a fully merited with at O’Neills Healy Park. Cormac Devlin, Kyle Coney and Shay McGuigan were also among the points for the Rossas with Tomas Clarke, Ronan O’Neill, Oisin Millar and Conan Grugan on target for the St.Endas.
