Friday Night Wins For Moortown And Derrylaughan

There were Friday night wins for Moortown and Derrylaughan over Eglish and Loughmacrory respectively on Friday night. The Loughshore men sprung a surprise with a 2-10 to 0-12 result at Connolly Park. Brian McLernon and Anthony Devlin got the visitors’ goals with Conor Herron landing four points. Sean McKillion, Damian Jordan and Peter McCann were among the points for Eglish.
Derrylaughan were 0-18 to 1-8 winners at Loughmacrory for a result that sees them join Eglish at the top of the division two table. Liam Gervin, Ciaran Quinn, Fergal McAliskey and Stephen McGrath were among the points for the Kevin Barrys while Aodhan McCullagh got the Loughmacrory goal with Cathal Donaghy and Cathair Gallagher landing points.
