Saturday 19.08.2023
R11 in Division one was completed on Friday night as Killyclogher and Trillick both won at home against Coalisland and Dungannon respectively. The win for the St.Marys leaves them joint second in the table while defeat for the Fianna leaves them in the danger zone.
Killyclogher led 0-6 to 0-1 at halftime with Conall McCann, Darragh Hayes and Matthew Murnaghan among their points, Tiernan Quinn with the Fianna score. The visitors played better in the second half and closed the gap with scores from Cormac O’Hagan and Quinn but Killyclogher stayed in front thanks to efforts from McCann and Odhran Potter.
Sean O’Donnell proved to be the match winner for Trillick at Donnelly Park with an injury time point to edge out Dungannon. The St.Macartans led 0-7 to 0-4 at the break with Lee Brennan and Ryan Gray among their points with Paul Donaghy and James Quinn on target for the Clarkes. Donaghy helped draw them level before O’Donnell had the final say.
