This was an excellent team performance from the Derg ladies but special mention must go to Aime Leonard, Lauren Corry and the team’s goalkeeper Grace Quinn. Best players for Sigersons were Tori Mc Laughlin and Ellie Mc Menamin.

Sperrin Óg lost out to neighbours Kildress on a score line of 4-12 to 1-05 having trailed at the break 4-8 to 1-02. Sperrin Óg’s scorers on the night were Meaghan Clarke 1-03 and Caislin Tracey 0-2.

On a night to forget for Sperrin Óg there were strong performances from Caislin Tracey, Michaela Fox, Siobhan McBride and Orla Coyle.
A good weekend for Omagh who sit second in division one on their return to senior football as they secured four points from six with a draw at home to Trillick and a good win away to Moortown. On Thursday Trillick salvaged a late draw through Cathleen Kelly after a feisty physical tie at O’Neills Healy Park.
Both sides had traded scores, Emer Mc Canny hit 0-6 for the hosts while a penalty from Sophie Kelly seemed to have done enough for the St Endas before Gallagher’s  run set up Kelly deep in injury time.
Caoileann Quinn scored an early goal for Moortown before points from Christiane Quinn, Emer Mc Canny and Aine Strain had Omagh on the mark and they pushed on. Strain got a goal and Mc Canny added a penalty before the end,
Clara Daly, Louise Moynagh, Sally Mc Menamin and Aoife Duddy had an excellent outing for Omagh who eased to a comfortable win.
