Galbally Win Ulster Intermediate League Title
Sunday 22.03.2015
Galbally won the Ulster Intermediate League title on Sunday afternoon when they edged out Stewartstown 2-8 to 2-5 at Pearse Park. The Harps led at the break thanks to two goals from Dan Lowe, Damian McCrory with a couple of points for the Pearses. Mickey Murphy and Gareth Devlin had points for their respective sides on the restart before a Caoimhin Quinn goal levelled matters. Devlin and Lowe put Stewartstown two in front but a Murphy penalty saw the lead change hands. With the game in injury time Stewartstown had a chance to win it but Devlin was wide from a penalty before a Rafferty free sealed victory for the hosts.
