Team Talk Mag

For the second time Gareth Devlin has won the Begleys Sports sponsored golden boot for emerging as the leading marksman in Intermediate league football over the course of the regular season. The Stewartstown clubman was level with Greencastle’s Mark Carson with three rounds to go but a superb tally of 6-15, including 2-8 last Sunday, saw him finish top with a combined tally of 94 points. Gareth will receive two complimentary tickets for the sold out Gala on November 28th when he will be presented with his prize. County attacker Darren McCurry scored 3-6 at the weekend for Edendork and that was enough to see him finish second, quite an achievement considering he missed the starred games. Mark Carson finish in third place.
