Gavin Tops Scoring Charts

Niall Gavin has finished as the top marksman in this season’s Junior championship as Derrytresk created history at Healy Park last Sunday to thwart Killeeshil’s double ambitions. Corner forward Niall gave a master class of finishing in the final to end with an impressive eight points to his name to take his total from four championship games to 0-27. Killeeshil’s Shane Mallon landed five points in the final and that was enough to see him leapfrog over Martin Rogers into second place in the charts with 1-15 to his name.
