Goals proved decisive for Galbally at home to Errigal Ciaran in Grade one. Galbally played against a strong wind in the first half but they led by a point at the break with Joseph Moylan finding the net twice. Tiernan Corrigan and Moylan added further goals in the second half with Corrigan, Neil McElroy and Niall O’Donnell all scoring points.
Eglish lost out in a high scoring encounter away to Cookstown. Conan McGuckin, Ryan Gildernew, Ethan Gildernew and Brian Og McGuckin all played well for the St.Patricks. This was a very close game with where the lead changed 4 times in the last 10 minutes. Cookstown scored goals from Conan Gormley, Daniel Ward and sub Oran Larmour with his first possession enough for a narrow win for Fr Rocks. Strong performances for Cookstown Flynn Neeson and Oisin O’Gara. The Father Rocks scorers were Conan Gormley 2-3, Daniel Ward 2-3, Oran Larmour 1-1. Matthew McElhatton 1-1,Flynn Neeson 1-1,, Eoin Lennon 0-2, Conal Hampsey 0-2, Cailim McElhatton 0-1 and Conor Fitzpatrick 0-1.
Clonoe hit a healthy 4-10 away to Trillick but still ended up with nothing to show for their efforts. Eoin Ferguson, Ben O’Neill and Senan Clements got the O’Rahillys goals with Ferguson, Feidhlim O’Hagan, Jack O’Neill and Senan Kelly among their points while Conor Magee, Ryan McNally and Ben O’Neill were among their best players on the day.
Dungannon were missing a few regulars at home to Loughmacrory and the visitors came out on top with a bit to spare. Eoin Rodgers top scored for the Clarkes with 1-3 to his name with good performances coming from Tommy Mullan and Daithi McGrath.
In grade two Na Doiri Oga made home advantage count against Edendork. Corbin O’Neill, Ben O’Neill, Matthew McGuigan, Matthew Mulgrew, Cathair Campbell, Fiontann Hughes and Callum McCann were among the scores for the winners with special mention going to James Carron and Owen Bloomer in defence and Ben O’Neill up front. Ronan Daly got both goals for Edendork and they had decent performances from keeper Patrick Harvey and Logan O’Connor.
Donaghmore had the minimum to spare in a high scoring encounter away to Greencastle, 5-11 to 5-10. Matthew Hetherington, Daire O’Neill, Padraig McAshea and Jude Rafferty got their goals with James Coary also playing well for the visitors.
In grade three Moortown came out on top in a high scoring encounter away to neighbours Naomh Brid, 3-14 to 3-9 the final score. First half goals from Joshua Coleman, Oisin McVey and Conor Kelly help lay the foundations for the visitors win. Emmett Kelly, Thomas Kelly and Cormac Conlan all chipped in with points for the winners with Tiernan O’Neill, Luke Ryan and Cathair Rocks to the fore in their defence.
Coalisland made the trip to Sigerson Park to take on Strabane and the Fianna returned home with the spoils in a contest that saw both sides score four goals. Conor Timlin and Dilly Hamilton were among the goals for the Fianna with Brendan Fee featuring among the points and Oisin McShane and Arijius solid in defence with keeper Eoghan Rua McShane also playing well.
There was a goal feast at Rock with the net being found fourteen times as the hosts got the better of Moy. Aodhan Loughran and Ronan McGurk were among the goals for the winners with Caolan Quinn and Fionn Daly supplying points with good games in defence from James McElvogue and Cormaic McElhatton. Conor Kerr and Alex McCann played well for Moy with Finn O’Neill, Charlie Conroy, Jack Harvey and Tom McKearney among their scorers. Brackaville lost out at home to Urney with Shane Talbot among the goals for the Roes.
In grade four Stewartstown had an emphatic win over Augher with James Hughes in superb form notching 4-3 with other scoring contributions coming from Callum Taggart 1-3 and Fintan Kelly 1-2.
