In grade 1 Ardboe came out on top away to Killyclogher in a high scoring thriller, 6-10 to 5-10 the final scoreline. Ruairi Devlin hit a few scores for the Rossas including the winning goal from a late penalty with Ruairi O’Neill getting a few goals, Conor McMurray and Dare McKeown both also finding the net with Luke Muldoon, and JP Doris also playing well.
Donaghmore proved too strong for Clonoe on home soil. Eoghan Donnelly and Charlie Field got the goals for the winners with Ruairi O’Neill and Donnelly notching a number of points between them while Jude Rafferty, Tiernan McAshea and Larry Shields were among their best performers. Kieran Drumm was among the goals for the Rahillys with Eoin Ferguson hitting a couple of points on a night when Callum Jackson and Sean Og McCabe played well in their defence as did Feidhilem O’Hagan in midfield while keeper Aodhan Donnelly pulled off an outstanding save.
In grade 2 Dungannon won a high scoring encounter away to Both Domhnaigh 4-10 to 1-17. The home side led by seven points at one stage early in the second half but goals from Michael Harper and Thomas Slater enabled the Clarkes to get back on level terms before a second Harper goal late on won it. Dungannon’s first half goal scorer was Ciaran Loughran.
In grade 3 Stewartstown were in fine goal scoring form at home to Aghaloo. Rian Biggs, Conan McCullagh and James Hughes all made scoring contributions for the Harps in attack as did midfield duo Michael Hughes and Odhran Robinson while Sean Paul Kelly, Charlie Park and Paddy Park all played well in their defence.
Edendork proved too strong for Naomh Brid away from home. Logan O’Connor hit 1-4 from midfield for the winners with John McLernon matching that tally from centre half forward. Ben McGeary produced a strong display at c entre half back and got forward to score a goal while Patsy Cullen got a major as well while Anthony McCaul and Charlie Coney were among the points as well.
There was a high scoring shoot out at Killeeshil with Rock edging the verdict 4-15 to 4-11. Joel Kerr 2-3, Fionn Daly 1-5, Aodhan Loughran 0-3, Ronan Loughran 1-0, Odhran Carroll 0-2, Caolan Quinn and Daithi Kerr were the Rock marksmen with Cormac McElhatton doing well in defence and keeper Ruairi O’Hagan having a great game saving a number of Killeeshil goal opportunities. Sean Carty top scored for Killeeshil with 2-3 to his name with Padraig Small 1-1, Luke McCoubrey 0-3, Ethan Mulgrew 0-2, Oisin Rafferty and Daithi Moss all on target as well. Carty, McCoubrey, Callum Wilson, Shane McElvogue and keeper Eamon McCrory were among their best performers on the night.
In grade 4 Brackaville edged it against Naomh Eoghan in an entertaining game, 1-15 to 3-6. James Gillis 0-9, Kealon Heron 1-2, Aaron Callan, Ryan O’Neill, Mark Thompson and Josh Henderson were the Roes scorers.
