Glenelly Ease To Play-off Win

Glenelly St Josephs 3-18

Eskra Emmetts 1-8

Glenelly were comfortable winners over Eskra in the Division 3 All County League Playoff game with an understrength Emmetts side well off the pace from early on. Team captain Cormac Mc Bride led the charge for the north Tyrone men as they ran out convincing 3-18 to 1-8 winners.

Glenelly looked sharper and hungrier from the get go and along with Mc Bride there were excellent displays from Lorcan Mc Cullagh, Kevin Mc Connell, Seamus Bradley and Oscar O’Neill.

Eskra on the other hand struggled for leadership throughout the contest and in spite of a fine goal from Cathal Arkinson had very little to get enthused about.

Glenelly Scorers: Lorcan Mc Cullagh 0-6, Cormac Mc Bride 0-4, Ronan O’Kane 1-1, Garrett O’Neill 1-1, Eoghan Mc Connell 1-0, Conor Mc Aneny 0-2, Oscar O’Neill 0-2, Thomas Coyle and Kevin Mc Connell 0-1 each.

Eskra Scorers: Aaron Kelly 0-3, Finn  Kelly 0-3, Cathal Arkinson 1-0, James Mc Neilis and Thomas Meegan.
