Club

Following a total of 18 football blitzes and 10 rounds of U12 fixtures the Go-Games football schedule was successfully completed on Saturday following the last of the U8 blitzes. As part of the Go-Games schedule many of you have been reminding me of Part 4 which included:

Part 4 – Go Games Under Lights – Garvaghey??

U8’s – Friday 28th September

U10’s – Friday 21st September

Unfortunately Garvaghey will not be finished in time to complete Part 4 of the schedule as planned. However it is hoped that the youth committee will be able to schedule this date around the Halloween period in late October. I will contact clubs as details of this event become more clearer.

Can I take this opportunity to thank all the clubs and their army of helpers who hosted and coordinated the numerous football blitzes this year, all the club contacts who made my job a lot easier (you know who you are), the mentors of the U8s, U10s and U12s, the children themselves and their parents/guardians and indeed the youth and coaching committees for their support
