Good Wins For Minor Camogie And Hurling Sides

Tyrone Minor hurlers travelled to the Bawnacre Centre in Irvinestown for their Ulster league clash with Fermanagh. After a competitive first half the young Red Hands led 0-12 to 0-8. However Tyrone really hit their stride after the break scoring four goals into the bargain to ease to a well deserved 4-21 to 1-8 win. Matthew Price, Dylan Devlin and Pierce Mullin (2) were the men who hit the net while Correy Bell (4) and Aodhan Molloy (5) top scored with points.

The minor camogie side travelled to Convoy in County Donegal for their Ulster Minor Shield semi-final with the host club on Sunday. The young Red Hands under the guidance of Leona Gallagher, Sean Moohan and John Kerr produced a devastating opening thirty minutes to put the game beyond their opponents. Catherine Moohan (2), Aine Cunningham  (2), Rhianne Mc Loughlin, Eva Cullen (2) and Sienna Gildernew were among the goals as the visitors cantered to victory.
